Marketing, websites, tech and media from one person.

For more than 15 years I've helped small businesses, nonprofits and event companies get found, look professional and run smoother. I just added a computer science degree to the toolkit.

How it works

Four steps, whatever the project

A website, an ad campaign and a commercial all run the same way with me.

  1. Plan

We talk through what you need, who it's for and what it should cost. I come back with a concept and a written plan.

  2. Make

I build it, shoot it or set it up, and bring in crew or contractors when the job calls for them.

  3. Polish

Editing, design, testing and your feedback, until it's right and it works on every screen.

  4. Launch

It goes live with a plan to get it seen: search, social, email, ads or TV. Then I track the results.

What that looks like in numbers

A few results from client work and my own businesses.

380 million+YouTube views, and still counting, on the Smosh episodes I shot as director of photography
0 → 40,000+monthly visitors for one client after search marketing and site improvements
50+websites built for small businesses, nonprofits and event companies
20,000–30,000people reached per restaurant with targeted, hyper-local ads

About

Hi, I'm Rodger.

I've started a wedding film studio, a marketing agency and a water conservation nonprofit. Running them taught me every job in a small organization: finding customers, building the website, keeping the books, fixing the network and making the video.

Before that I spent years behind a camera. I've shot for Smosh, Food Network and The Travel Channel, and photographed Green Day, Def Leppard, Tesla and Bryan Adams on stage.

In 2026 I finished a computer science degree, with coursework in Python, Java and AI. I went back to school because the most useful thing I do for clients is connect the creative side to the technical side.

The two things I love most are being behind a camera and my family.
